This Sunday I will observe Mother's Day as a mother for the second time--already!  We're hoping to make a trip to Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

I am not a vegetarian, but we try to keep our evening meals meat-free.  This cooking blog, particularly this recipe, inspires me.

Tonight my husband is having his monthly ASL SLAM event, with guest performer Pinky.

Tomorrow Douglas and I will participate in Christine Kim's performance art, Face Opera II for the Calder Foundation.

I just eat this kind of thing up.

I like my own John Hancock, so this is brilliant.  Might make a good Mother's Day gift!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  This Sunday we are going to celebrate Levi's grandma's birthday.  Levi keeps on saying, "Grandma Sunday."

Last Sunday we hit our neighborhood flea market.  That market seriously rocks.  If you're ever in Williamsburg on a Sunday, by all means GO!  I got a cool cast metal L to match the D we have in our living room.  They were also selling ampersands.

It's official!  We're France-bound for three weeks this summer.  Douglas will be performing at the Festival Clin d'Oeil (translates loosely to Festival of a Wink?  French-speaking people, help me!).  I'm dreaming of gardens and slow days in the Champagne region.
